Sea in winter
Il mare d’inverno è proprio staordinario, soprattutto quando le onde incontrano la scogliera, creando una schiuma bianca, frizzante e umida che increspa i capelli e ti inumidisce il viso. E’ strano trovarsi al mare in questo periodo dell’anno, a pochi passi si intravede la città di Catania e l’antico porticciolo di Ognina. Un mare cittadino grigio, cupo e terso. Un pomeriggio di novembre accompagnata da Dario ma anche da una cappa blu di Alysi (proveniente sempre dalla Fera O’ Luni – 6 euro), un pantalone a vita alta “Principe di Galles” di Brooksfield e degli akle boots di Burberry, ho rischiato più volte di farmi bagnare dalla onde che sbattevano sugli scogli. E’ stato divertente, a tratti malinconico, a tratti sbiadito e involontariamente d’antan.
Sea in winter is stunning, above all when waves meet cliff, creating white fizzy foam that ruffle the hair and wet the face. It’s so strange going to the sea in this period and see the city so close (only people who live near the sea can understand). A grey city sea, dark and clear. November afternoon, with my boyfriend Dario, with blue Alysi cape (from Fera O’Luni – 6 euro), a pair of grey glencheck high waist Brooksfield trousers, with Burberry ankle boots. Even if waves tried to wet me quite often, it was funny and a bit melancholic.
