A day with Anna Dello Russo
L’anno scorso durante il mio stage presso la redazione di Lost in Fashion a Milano ho avuto la fortuna di entrare per un qualche ora a casa della direttrice di Vogue Japan, Anna Dello Russo. Durante l’intervista svolta dalla giornalista Silvia Paoli, ho assistito alle varie metamorfosi della più rinomata fashionista nel mondo. Piume, haute couture, cuissardes di suede, copricapi dalle forme più impensate, una teca stracolma di paia di scarpe. AdR non smentisce mai le aspettative. Osa e sa come osare. Eccentrica, particolarissima musa di molti stilisti, le fashion week non sarebbe più le stesse se non ci fosse lei nei vari front row. Un’esperienza davvero unica, varcata la soglia di casa sua non riuscivo a credere a quanto avevo appena visto e sentito, ero in piena sindrome di Stendhal. Mai uguale a se stessa, Anna è una guru davvero “beyond“, come il suo profumo.
Last year during my internship at Lost in Fashion editorial staff in Milan, I had the chance to visit Anna Dello Russo home, Vogue Japan Editor at Large. During the interview, performed by journalist Silvia Paoli, I attended to metamorphosis of the most popular fashionista in the world. Feathers, haute couture, suede cuissardes, the strangest hats ever, shelves full of shoes. AdR never disappoints. She dares and she knows how to do it. Eccentric designer’s muse, fashion weeks are not the same without Anna in the front row. An incredible experience: crossing the threshold, I couldn’t believe things I saw and listened. I had a Stendhal Syndrome. Anna is never the same, she is a guru, really “Beyond ” as her perfume.
